These tools are provided free, as-is, to be genuinely useful. This page sets out the sensible limits on that.

No warranty

The tools are provided without warranty of any kind. We build and test them carefully, but we cannot guarantee that every tool will produce a perfect result for every possible PDF — PDFs vary enormously in how they are constructed. Always check the output of any tool before relying on it, especially for important documents.

Keep your originals

Every tool produces a new file and leaves your original untouched on your device. We strongly recommend keeping your original until you have confirmed the result is correct. We cannot recover a file for you, because we never had it.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the documents you process and for checking that the results meet whatever requirement you have — a portal's file-size limit, a printer's page order, an authority's format. Where a tool states a limitation, please take it seriously; it is there because it is true.
